Chris Bowers
Chris has been reporting on the global tennis circuit sine 1992. The Englishman is a regular on the European sports TV channel Eurosport and is heard on radio stations throughout the world. He has written six books on tennis, including the first international biography of Roger Federer.
Craig Gabriel
Sydney based Craig Gabriel has been reporting and broadcasting tennis on radio and TV for more than 25 years. He is also the media director in Shanghai and at the Medibank International in Sydney. He also works on Serena Williams and Andy Roddick’s websites. He was the first person to call tennis live on the internet, back in 1999 when Australia played the USA in Davis Cup in Boston. This year is his 27th Australian Open.
Richard Evans
Richard, a Paris-born Englishman who lives in Florida, has been covering tennis for the last forty years. Spanning three decades, Evans was the play by play commentator for BBC Radio at Wimbledon and has written on tennis, cricket and soccer for a variety of British newspapers, including the Observer and International Herald Tribune. He has authored over a dozen books and is a regular contributor to Tennisweek.com.
Eleanor Preston
Eleanor is writer, broadcaster and media consultant who has worked in tennis for more than a decade. She is based in the UK and in Australia but continues to travel on the international circuit.
Craig Willis
For more than 25 years Craig Willis has been regarded as one of this country's best Masters of Ceremonies. He is currently engaged as the Compere for the Australian Football League, and is known as the "voice of the AFL". He is also regarded as the "voice of tennis" after almost 20 years as the man who introduces the players onto centre court at the Australian Open and at all domestic Davis Cup ties.
Pete Marcato
Peter is a freelance broadcaster and journalist. He is currently a sport reporter and newsreader with the Triple M network across Australia and has worked for Melbourne sports radio station SEN. Peter has worked with AO radio for the past three years in both a play by play and specialist commentator role.
Ashley Fisher
Ashley is 34 years of age originally from Wollongong but currently residing in St Petersburg, Florida. He reached a career high of 19 in the ATP World doubles rankings in 2009. Fisher has captured 4 doubles titles and was a Semi Finalist in the 2006 US Open, as well as a Quarter Finalist in the 2006 Australian Open and a Quarter Finalist at Wimbledon in 2004. Last year, with partner Stephen Huss, he reached the final in Key Biscayne defeating the Bryan brothers in the semis. He is currently recovering from knee surgery and expects to be back competing in July.
Mark Hlawaty
Mark Hlawaty played on tour for 9 years with a Highest ATP ranking of 470 in singles and 271 doubles. He is currently a hitting partner with Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Martina Hingis, and Mary Pierce. Mark has been coaching for over 20 years, working with WTA and ATP players, and is currently coaching with Tennis Australia and the National Academy Melbourne.
Stephen Huss
As a Melbourne local, Stephen played tennis for fun from about the age of 5, but took the game more seriously in my later teens. He gained a tennis scholarship to Auburn University, USA, where he spent 4 years and became All American in both singles and doubles. Stephen joined the pro tour in 2000, but found his doubles ranking rising faster than his singles, so decided to pursue doubles. The highlight of his career came in 2005 with Wesley Moodie where they won the Wimbledon title. Throughout his career he has been fortunate enough to play against amazing players like Mcenroe, Becker, Agassi, Federer, Roddick, Safin, Ferrero, Woodbridge, Paes, Bryans, Bjorkman. Stephen is competing with Carsten Ball at this year’s Australian Open.
John Kehoe
John Kehoe is an Australian sports commentator, who calls tennis, basketball and Aussie Rules football (AFL). He is also a print journalist specialising in business and politics, including the coverage of business related sport issues. A keen tennis player, but John's tennis skills are best confined to the commentary box.
